The Minnesota Vikings have kicked off their rookie minicamp on Friday afternoon with a whopping 51 players hitting the practice field, most of which are practicng for the first time in an NFL uniform.
What's really interesting is the Vikings will also have six players on the 90-man roster who have been to a training camp before, including wide receiver Jeshaun Jones, who received one of the highest signing bonuses of the 2024 NFL Draft cycle with the Vikings.
The Vikings have seen a lot of success over the course of time in finding undrafted players. They found two Hall of Famers in defensive tackle John Randle and center Mick Tingelhoff. The Vikings also found wide receiver Adam Thielen in rookie minicamp back in 2013.
Within the 51 players, the Vikings will have 20 players who signed in undrafted free agency and 20 others who were invited on a tryout basis. Here are all the players that will be participating with players in on a tryout basis in italics.
