If you were waiting to buy a jersey for one of the newest Minnesota Vikings, you don’t have to wait any longer.

This offseason was a relatively quiet one for the Minnesota Vikings.

They didn’t have a lot of salary cap space to maneuver with, so they added just three players in free agency before the NFL Draft, and added a fourth to provide depth. Nine NFL Draft picks and a whopping 19 undrafted free agents round out the roster ahead of rookie minicamp this weekend.

Minnesota Vikings announce player numbers

On Wednesday, the Vikings announced player numbers for the 2026 season, and there are some interesting ones.

Veteran additions and number changes

Pierre got a really nice cornerback number at 23, and Murray sticks with 1. He’s worn that in multiple stops across his career, from high school to the Arizona Cardinals. Chambliss changed his number from 47 to 32, which is a good change overall.

Some really good numbers for the Vikings’ draft class. Banks was unable to get 88 due to Alan Page’s number being retired. Demmings getting 20 is a great number for a cornerback, as is 8 for Thomas.
