Minnesota Vikings release first injury report of Week 8 as an estimation

The Minnesota Vikings are on a short week which means injury reports are a bit different schedule. We got an injury report on Monday but it was just an estimation. Here is what the Vikings estimated:

ILB Blake Cashman (toe): Did not practice
CB Akayleb Evans (hip): Limited
TE T.J. Hockenson (knee): Limited
RB Aaron Jones (hamstring): Limited
OLB Pat Jones II (shoulder): Limited
TE Josh Oliver (wrist): Limited
DT Harrison Phillips (shoulder): Limited
S Theo Jackson (hand): Full
OG Dalton Risner (back): FullT

This shouldn't be much of a surprise, but the biggest standout was Risner. He was estimated as a full participant. There have been rumblings about Risner taking over for Ed Ingram and that could be coming as soon as Thursday. Will it or should it happen? That is another question entirely.

For the Rams, wide receiver Cooper Kupp was an estimated full participant at practice, which could finally spell out his return. With Puka Nacua still out, that could be a huge addition to a team that lacks requisite firepower.
