ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) was updated after an eventful Wild Card weekend. Fans saw the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, and Los Angeles Rams pick up wins to keep their seasons alive.

But before the Divisional Round begins on Saturday, the FPI used metrics, including team efficiency, offensive and defensive stats, strength of schedule, and more to create rankings and make projections.

According to the FPI’s full rankings of all 32 teams, the Houston Texans are the lowest-ranked of the remaining playoff squads. They are ranked 16th and sit behind some teams that missed the playoffs, including the San Francisco 49ers, Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and Arizona Cardinals.

Among the eight teams still in contention, the Texans also rank last in their chances to reach the Super Bowl and win it. The FPI gives Houston just a 10.7% chance of making the Super Bowl, with their odds of winning it all dropping to 3.7%.

While the Houston Texans undoubtedly earned their right to make it this far but it's clear what the numbers say.

On Saturday, they'll take on the Kansas City Chiefs for a spot in the AFC Championship Game. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
