Mougey Signing Andrew Beck Brings Familiar Face on Board
Marc Lebryk-Imagn Images

In making his first transaction as Jets General Manager by signing free agent TE/H-Back Andrew Beck, Darren Mougey adds a player knows, and obviously trusts, from their time together in Denver from 2019-2022.

Beck appeared in four games last season with the Texans and Packers but did not register a stat on offense.  He did however appear in 66 games (22 starts) prior to the 2024 season as a tight end, fullback and special teamer.

Primarily a blocker on offense, Beck’s career high in receiving yards came as a rookie in 2019 when he had 90 yards on 9 receptions.

With no established NFL tight ends projected on their roster when the offseason kicks off, does Beck have a shot to stick around?
