After their 34-10 blowout loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 4, the Cleveland Browns are 1-3 and sit at the bottom of the AFC North standings with the Baltimore Ravens. The Browns will have their next opportunity to turn things around as they travel to London to take on the 2-2 Minnesota Vikings.

Ahead of its game against the Vikings, Cleveland already made a notable roster move, benching veteran quarterback Joe Flacco in favor of third-round rookie Dillon Gabriel. With this move, the Browns are hoping to see a boost in their offensive production. Through four weeks, their 279.8 total yards per game rank as the sixth-worst in the NFL, and their 14 points per game rank as the second-worst, just ahead of the Tennessee Titans.

There are reasons to be intrigued by Cleveland's decision to start Gabriel. However, this will not be the only story worth following before their game against Minnesota as the team is now dealing with a Myles Garrett injury scare that will be crucial to monitor.

Browns Dealing With Myles Garrett Injury Before Minnesota Vikings Game

Garrett is one of the best defensive players in the NFL, and he plays a crucial role in Cleveland. However, unfortunately for the Browns, there is a real possibility they will have to take on the Vikings without the 29-year-old after his injury.

"Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Myles Garrett (ankle) and RT Jack Conklin (elbow) are day to day for the #Vikings game Sunday in London. Garrett won’t practice today and Conklin is expected to be limited," Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot wrote on X.

Ever since the Browns drafted him first overall in 2017, Garrett has established himself as a difference-maker on the defensive line. He is a six-time Pro Bowler, a four-time first-team All-Pro selection and the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year. Furthermore, he has continued to do more of the same this season, recording four sacks in as many games and an NFL-leading eight tackles for loss.

If Garrett is unable to suit up against the Vikings, Cleveland will have to rely more heavily on other defensive ends like Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, Cameron Thomas, Isaiah McGuire and Alex Wright to make up for his absence.

Hopefully for Cleveland, Garrett's injury is not too serious and he can play in Week 5. If not, however, it would be a tough blow to a team that is already looking to find its groove.

Cleveland and Minnesota square off at 9:30 a.m. ET Sunday on NFL Network.
