On Monday, Netflix announced the August release of a documentary about the murder of former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair.
The documentary, which is titled "The Murder of Air McNair", also focuses on the Titans' run to Super Bowl XXXIV.
According to Netflix, the documentary will be released on August 20.
The documentary is part of Netflix's "UNTOLD" series.

McNair, a three-time Pro Bowler who was the 2003 NFL co-MVP, was murdered 15 years ago on July 4, 2009 in Nashville by a woman named 20-year-old woman named Sahel "Jenni" Kazemi.
In 2019, the Titans posthumously retired McNair's No. 9 jersey.
Additionally, McNair, who played college football at Alcorn State, was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2020.
McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL (11 with the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans and two with the Baltimore Ravens). He passed for 31,304 yards and 174 touchdowns while rushing for 3,590 yards and 37 touchdowns. McNair's 3,590 rushing yards are No. 9 all-time by a quarterback in NFL history.
