New Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris jokingly says he hates the New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints' biggest rival are the Atlanta Falcons. No one should be debating that. It is a fact, and the fans of both teams would happily agree on that concept. It's probably the only ideal that they will find common ground on, though.

New Falcons coach Raheem Morris jokingly said he hates the Saints when talking to the media this week.

The comments from Morris were lighthearted, but the matchup could use more fire. Since Matt Ryan and Drew Brees left their respective squads, Atlanta and New Orleans games have not felt quite the same.

Now, the Falcons have added a legitimate starting QB in Kirk Cousins for the foreseeable future. There seems to be a lot  more positivity and hype around the franchise than in recent seasons. There's belief.

Meanwhile, the Saints have plenty of pressure on themselves to perform in 2024.

Dennis Allen's job is on the line, and Derek Carr caught some flak last year in his first season in black and gold. They must improve.

Hopefully, Morris' comments will not be the last between the two sides regarding their passionate rivalry.
