The New York Giants are keeping their quarterback options wide open ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft—and they’ve added a surprising name to their list.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Giants are set to host a private workout with Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe this week, as part of a busy slate of pre-draft evaluations.

The Giants are also meeting with Shedeur Sanders and Tyler Shough, as Milroe becomes the latest QB drawing interest as New York weighs its options with the No. 3 overall pick.

Milroe may not be a consensus top-three pick right now, but he’s one of the most electric playmakers in this year’s class. He led Alabama to an SEC championship and College Football Playoff berth in 2023, followed by a decent 9-4 campaign and ReliaQuest Bowl appearance in 2024.

Across the last two seasons, Milroe completed 65 percent of his passes for 5,678 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. But it’s his legs that truly separate him.

Milroe rushed for 1,257 yards and a staggering 32 touchdowns on 329 carries—20 of those scores came in 2024 alone, ranking second nationally among quarterbacks.

His athleticism is undeniable. What NFL teams are still evaluating is whether he’s polished enough as a passer to command a franchise.

Milroe’s presence in the NFL Draft greenroom suggests he's confident in his stock, even if it’s unclear how high he’ll go.

Would the Giants make a surprise move at No. 3? It’s a long shot, but hosting Milroe shows they’re leaving no stone unturned.
