Buccaneers HC Todd Bowles knows his time may be running out, as the team started 0-4 this season.
“We know what the problem is,” Bowles said, via PFT. “It’s on us. We can’t keep getting close to not winning. That’s not good enough. Our record says what we are. We’re 0-and-4, until we acknowledge that and we correct our own mistakes, you know, it’s gonna keep happening. We talked about it as a team. We’re gonna be a team, and we got to play tougher in the end and we got to execute the end. And that’s the only way you can win the ball game.”
Panthers WR Tetairoa McMillan had a breakout game in the win over Detroit, recording 14 catches for 192 yards and two touchdowns.
“I mean, who knows, maybe just the atmosphere, the prime time moments,” McMillan said, via the team’s website. “Everything just clicked tonight. And obviously Coach [Dave] Canales just harped on it earlier, just, there’s some plays throughout the week that we may not have hit on, but shoot, Brad called it tonight, and Bryce trusted it, and he made good throws, and we converted, so I can’t tell you what happened tonight. Maybe it’s just the Charlotte air.”
