There are a handful of very playable options in survivor this week. We’ll preview all of them before finalizing our survivor pool analysis in Ryan Reynold’s Saturday morning betting preview. You can also check out our survivor pool channel in our free Discord.
Spread: 49ers -13.5
The San Francisco 49ers are the best team in the league, maybe even by a considerable margin. This week, they have a road game with rival Arizona. Unless Kyler Murray goes off, which he’s capable of, the Arizona Cardinals are outmatched with few paths to victory.
In Week 17, San Francisco’s pass rush will have a major trench advantage and Brock Purdy will face the league’s worst pass defense.

Spread: Dolphins -12
If you still have the Miami Dolphins, this is the spot to use them with games against the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills left.
Best Remaining Matchups: None
Spread: Chiefs -9.5
The Kansas City Chiefs have lost three of their past four games, including their previous two. That kind of thing doesn’t happen in the Patrick Mahomes era. That current downturn makes Mahomes’ Chiefs less safe than they’ve ever been. However, the New England Patriots have scored more than 10 points in just one of their last four games.
This week against the Patriots and Week 16 vs. the Las Vegas Raiders are very strong spots for the Chiefs. Week 17 is more volatile than it was a few weeks ago because Jake Browning has been better than expected for the Cincinnati Bengals in his past two starts. Week 18’s matchup with the Los Angeles Chargers will depend on Justin Herbert’s injury status.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 16 vs. LV, Week 17 vs. CIN, Week 18 at LAC
Spread: Rams -6.5
Matthew Stafford could genuinely eviscerate the Washington Commanders‘ secondary. One major concern is that the Commanders are coming off their bye, while Los Angeles is coming off an overtime game against Baltimore.
The Giants have one of the most anemic offenses in the league, making the Los Angeles Rams a viable road option in Week 17.
Best Remaining Matchups: Week 17 at NYG
Spread: Saints -6.5
You can’t trust the 2023 New Orleans Saints, plain and simple. Their defense has been underwhelming over the last month, but it played well against the Panthers last week.
The New York Giants’ offense is a bottom-tier group, just like the Carolina Panthers’. Your biggest concern in this game is that Derek Carr’s offense has struggled to finish drives all season, and the Giants have a solid defense.
