After nearly two decades of delivering unforgettable moments inside the ring, Sheamus' remarkable 19-year WWE journey will reportedly soon come to an end.
According to reports Sunday afternoon from WWE insider Sean Ross Sapp, the man known as "The Celtic Warrior" will reportedly move on from WWE when his contract expires.
According to Sapp, Sheamus declined the option to work on an extension with the company, putting an end to what will be one of the more storied careers in recent WWE history.

The first televised match for Sheamus came on June 30, 2009, on the revamped ECW program. From that point forward, Sheamus racked up the following accolades inside the ring:
Sheamus needed just the Intercontinental Championship to become a Grand Slam Champion, something he took to social media to hint at just days ago.

At 48-years-old and with over 2,000 matches in his illustrious career, the next steps for Sheamus are unclear. It is possible that both TNA and AEW will make a push to bring the well-known veteran on to their rosters.
One thing to keep in mind, Sheamus' old tag-team partner Claudio Castognali is currently in the middle of his AEW contract, something that could make for an enticing option.
