Cooper Kupp was part of a controversial moment in the opening play of Super Bowl LX between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots, but when the dust settled, there should be no doubt about the wide receiver’s place in league history.
The Seahawks dominated the AFC champions to win their second Super Bowl, and Kupp has even more to brag about. Not only did he win his second NFL title, but he also joined an exclusive NFL club.
The NFL announced shortly after the Seahawks’ win that the 32-year-old wide receiver became the second player in his position to win an Offensive Player of the Year Award and multiple Super Bowls.
The last player to accomplish the feat was former Seahawk Jerry Rice. Rice won the Super Bowl three times and the OPOY Award twice.
NFL senior researcher Dante Koplowitz-Fleming also noted that Kupp, who joined the Seahawks last offseason on a three-year, $45 million deal, etched his name into another remarkable milestone that only four players have achieved.
He is now part of an exclusive group of players who have won multiple Super Bowl titles and led the league in receiving yards.
Only four players in NFL history have a resume that includes multiple Super Bowl rings and a season as the NFL's receiving yards leader:

The Seahawks denied the Patriots any chance of getting back into the game after the first quarter, unleashing their signature “Dark Side” defense on New England quarterback Drake Maye. The Patriots were scoreless through the first three quarters and only got on the scoreboard in the fourth quarter after Seattle had already established a huge lead.
Kenneth Walker III was outstanding for the Seahawks, leading all players with 135 rushing yards while averaging 5.0 yards per carry. He was later named Super Bowl MVP.
