The NFL has fined Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chris Roland-Wallace and Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Alex Harkey for their Week 6 scuffle.

The NFL’s Week 6 accountability report, released Saturday, lists a $5,981 fine for Roland-Wallace for striking an opponent and $5,277 for Harkey for a late hit.

The fines stemmed from their roles in the Week 6 incident at Arrowhead Stadium, where Kansas City improved to 5-0 after a 22-6 win.

The incident occurred at the start of the fourth quarter when Harkey forcefully shoved Roland-Wallace from behind after a play.

Roland-Wallace retaliated by throwing a punch at Harkey, who was down on his knees at the time. Officials called offsetting penalties on both players. Roland-Wallace was subsequently ejected after replay assistance alerted officials to the punch.

Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes led the team’s offense, completing 23 of 30 passes for 272 yards, while running back Kenneth Walker rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

Los Angeles quarterback Justin Herbert completed 22 of 37 passes for 204 yards and one interception.

Roland-Wallace and the Chiefs are in action Sunday night. They face the defending champions, the 3-3 Seattle Seahawks, at Lumen Field as they try to keep their perfect record intact.

Meanwhile, Harkey and the Chargers have a Week 7 bye, then return in Week 8 to face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium. The Chargers dropped to 0-6 after losing to the Chiefs and are still seeking their first win of the NFL season.
