Amon-Ra St. Brown and the Detroit Lions advanced to 6-3 after defeating the Washington Commanders 44-22 in Week 10. It was a solid performance after falling to the Minnesota Vikings 27-24 the week prior.

St. Brown was solid against Washington, hauling in five receptions for 58 yards and one touchdown. However, an incident with Commanders defensive lineman Daron Payne has overshadowed that performance.

In the second quarter, Payne was ejected from the game for striking the wide receiver and has since received a one-game suspension. However, after the game, Payne took to Instagram, posting a video showing that St. Brown threw the first punch.

On Saturday, the NFL announced a punishment for St. Brown as well, giving him a $12,172 fine for striking/kicking/tripping/kneeing. Luckily for the three-time Pro Bowler, a fine is all he received despite Payne being given a suspension.

According to Spotrac, this is now the third time he's been fined since entering the NFL, with the total reaching $67,136. He was fined $43,709 in 2023 for a blindside block and $11,255 in 2024 for taunting.

St. Brown wasn't the only player fined from the Lions-Commanders game. Washington defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw will be losing out on $28,555 for contact with an official and linebacker Ale Koha $46,371 for use of the helmet.

With this incident now behind him, St. Brown and Detroit prepare to play the Philadelphia Eagles on "Sunday Night Football." Led by Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia looks to stay hot while riding a three-game winning streak.

Along with a win, St. Brown is looking to build on his impressive 2025 season, already having 64 receptions, 693 yards and eight touchdowns.
