Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Jalen Ramsey has had a wonderful career in the NFL thus far. Now in his 10th year in the league, Ramsey is playing for his fourth different team, and it's his first season with the Steelers.
Overall in his career, the former fifth overall pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2016 NFL Draft has played in 145 games with 581 total tackles, 25 interceptions, 114 pass breakups and six forced fumbles. These impressive statistics have led to seven Pro Bowl appearances, three first-team All-Pro selections and one Super Bowl title with the Los Angeles Rams.
The Steelers have had a solid 2025 season, going 6-4 through their first 10 games, as they currently sit in first place in the AFC North. Ramsey has definitely been a part of Pittsburgh's success. The 31-year-old Smyrna, Tennessee, native has started every game, totaling 47 tackles, two tackles for loss, six pass breakups and one interception.
Last weekend, in the Steelers' 34-12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, Ramsey got into a scuffle with Bengals star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase after a play. During this altercation, Ramsey shoved the face mask of Chase after the wideout appeared to spit on the cornerback.
Ramsey was flagged for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at the time, and on Saturday, the NFL announced a $14,491 fine for him as well, according to the league's website.

While Chase wasn't penalized at the time, he was later suspended for one game without pay by the NFL after it investigated the incident, finding that he did, in fact, spit on Ramsey.
This is the second time Ramsey has been fined by the league this season after he was docked $17,389 for hitting a defenseless receiver against the Indianapolis Colts on Nov. 2.
Ramsey and the Steelers will be back on the field Sunday against the Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. ET on CBS.
