Micah Parsons and the Green Bay Packers fell to 5-3-1 in Week 10, losing to the Jalen Hurts-led Philadelphia Eagles 10-7. It's their second straight loss after falling to the Carolina Panthers 16-13 the week before.

Parsons remained relatively quiet against the Eagles, recording just two tackles, zero sacks and zero tackles for loss. It became his second straight game where he failed to record a sack.

On top of losing, the linebacker was handed a hefty punishment from the NFL. With 4:08 remaining in the fourth quarter, Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had a five-yard rushing play to give his team a first down and was brought down by Parsons.

No flag was thrown on the play, but the NFL announced on Saturday that Parsons has been fined $12,172 for unnecessary roughness, described as striking/kicking/tripping/kneeing.

This isn't the first time he's been fined in his NFL career. According to Spotrac, the former Penn State Nittany Lion was fined twice in 2022, totaling $21,748.

For Week 10, the NFL handed out 24 fines through 2,233 plays, equalling 1.07% of all snaps. Parsons's was far from the most expensive. That belongs to Washington Commanders linebacker Ale Kaho, fined $46,371 for use of the helmet.

Up next for Parsons and the Packers is a Week 11 matchup against the New York Giants. Green Bay's defense is looking to capitalize on a weak Giants pass protection that has allowed the seventh-most sacks in the NFL ( 31).

Parsons is specifically looking to add to his 22 tackles, 6.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss and 25 pressures through the first nine games.

Kickoff is 1 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium, airing on Fox.
