
Shedeur Sanders has taken over as the quarterback of the Cleveland Browns.
Sanders was recently named the starter for the rest of the season, per head coach Kevin Stefanski. He took over the role for fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel.
The Browns quarterback had his best game of the season, playing against Cam Ward and the Tennessee Titans. While Cleveland was dealt a loss to the Titans, Sanders received some exciting news during his rookie season.
The NFL announced that Shedeur Sanders was named the Week 14 Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week. They posted a photo of Sanders while attaching his "legendary" motto in the caption.
"LEGENDARY," posted the official social media account of the NFL.
In his rookie season with the Cleveland Browns, Shedeur Sanders has posted five touchdowns and 769 yards with a 52.4 completion percentage.
Sanders had his best game in the loss to the Tennessee Titans, posting three touchdowns and 364 yards with a 54.8 completion percentage. Sanders also added a season-high 29 rushing yards on just three carries.
The Cleveland Browns will now play the Chicago Bears in Week 15 of the season. Chicago is favored in the matchup on nearly every major betting site, including ESPN BET, FanDuel, DraftKings and Hard Rock Bet.
Shedeur Sanders is looking to earn his second win of the season after defeating the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in the season.
