Week 1 of the NFL concluded, and if betters played their cards right, then a lot of money was made. Especially as there were not too many stunning victories, well, if you ignore the Chicago Bears choking on Monday night. When it comes to confidence pools, it was a big Win if you followed most of the advice on this website.

A Reminder Of The Rules

So when it comes to confidence pools, this is a really fun way to bet. What you have to do is rank all 16 games by how confident you feel about each pick. Keep in mind that your “lock of the century” gets 16 points all the way down to 1 point for that game where you’re basically flipping a coin and praying. It’s a little unreliable because you never know what could happen in an NFL week, but it’s a fun way to boost your confidence.

How Did I Do For Week 1

So, now that the rules have been said, let’s dive into the Week 1 Picks.

16. Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Dallas Cowboys) – Eagles Won (Gain 16 Points)
15. Arizona Cardinals (at New Orleans Saints) – Cardinals Won (Gain 15 Points)

Worst Pick of The Week

Surprisingly, I had a really good week, but the worst pick is easily the Kansas City Chiefs. They did not look good at all against the Chargers, and it’s clear their o-line issues are much bigger than anticipated. Plus, looking back, probably should not have been overly confident in the game as it is International and those can be super tricky to pick. Plus, Justin Herbert was amazing in that game with his 3-touchdown performance. Oh well, we live and learn, and besides that game, picking the Panthers and Dolphins was a bad idea too. Both of them suck, but luckily, they weren’t as big a loss in points as the Chiefs game.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this was a great start to Confidence Picks. Then again, the only big surprise loss was the Chiefs game, and this week felt a little too predictable. Just because a good week happened, the best piece of advice is to never be overconfident and boost your ego. Too many times players boost their ego’s think they know it all, and in Week 2, they have the worst Confidence pool picks ever. Just keep cool, relax, and trust the process. Get prepared for Week 2 and the Confidence pool picks on Total Apex Bets & Fantasy will be ready soon.
