JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars leaned on volume and depth in the 2026 NFL draft, a departure from their typical approach that resulted in a “C+” grade from EasySportz’s in-house NFL analyst in its team-by-team evaluation.

Jacksonville, without a first-round pick following a prior trade, opened in the second round with tight end Nate Boerkircher before adding defensive tackle Albert Regis, offensive lineman Emmanuel Pregnon and defensive back Jalen Huskey in the third.

The Jaguars continued with edge rusher Wesley Williams in the fourth, tight end Tanner Koziol in the fifth and a pair of sixth-round selections in wide receiver Josh Cameron and receiver C.J. Williams before closing with edge rusher Zach Durfee and Parker Hughes in the seventh.

EasySportz’s analyst noted the class focused heavily on depth and trench play but lacked early-round impact talent, particularly without a first-round selection. The report highlighted Pregnon as a potential value pick while questioning overall upside across the group.

National evaluations were similarly critical, with multiple outlets citing confusion over early selections and a lack of star power, though acknowledging the team’s intent to build roster depth.

Overall, the Jaguars’ draft was viewed as uncharacteristic and less aggressive than in recent years, but one that could still produce contributors over time — reflected in the analyst’s C+ grade.
