NFL Draft First Round Defensive Targets for the Saints

The New Orleans Saints could target multiple defensive players with the ninth selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Saints hold the ninth overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and may consider selecting a defensive player in the first round. With several clear needs on the defensive side of the ball and the implementation of a new scheme under defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, the team could target a prospect whose skill set fits well within Staley’s 3-4 system.
