PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles continued their trend of strong draft performances in 2026, earning an “A+” grade from EasySportz’s in-house NFL analyst in its team-by-team evaluation.

Philadelphia opened by trading up to leapfrog Pittsburgh and select wide receiver Makai Lemon in the first round, a move that set the tone for another aggressive and calculated draft. The Eagles followed with tight end Eli Stowers in the second and defensive back Markel Bell in the third.

The Eagles added quarterback Cole Payton in the fifth round, then selected offensive lineman Micah Morris in the sixth before closing with a trio of seventh-round picks — Cole Wisniewski, Uar Bernard and Keyshawn James-Newby.

EasySportz’s analyst praised the class for its value, vision and consistency, highlighting Lemon as a dynamic playmaker and pointing to Philadelphia’s ability to maximize every pick. The report noted the Eagles once again demonstrated a clear plan and strong roster-building philosophy.

National evaluations echoed that sentiment, with analysts ranking Philadelphia among the top draft classes for its efficiency and upside.

Overall, the Eagles’ draft was viewed as another elite haul and a model of sustained success — reflected in the analyst’s A+ grade.
