PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers delivered a strong, well-rounded performance in the 2026 NFL draft, earning an “A” grade from EasySportz’s in-house NFL analyst in its team-by-team evaluation.
Pittsburgh opened by selecting offensive lineman Max Iheanachor in the first round, then added wide receiver Germie Bernard in the second to bolster the offense. The Steelers followed with a trio of third-round picks — quarterback Drew Allar, defensive back Daylen Everette and offensive lineman Gennings Dunker — addressing multiple needs.
The Steelers added Kaden Wetjen in the fourth and Riley Nowakowski in the fifth before closing with Gabriel Rubio in the sixth and seventh-round picks Robert Spears-Jennings and Eli Heidenreich.
EasySportz’s analyst praised the class for its balance and long-term vision, highlighting Allar as a key addition who can develop behind veteran Aaron Rodgers. The report noted Pittsburgh effectively blended immediate contributors with developmental talent across the roster.
National evaluations reflected a similar outlook, with analysts pointing to strong value and a cohesive approach throughout the draft.
Overall, the Steelers’ class was viewed as a complete, forward-thinking group with both present and future impact — reflected in the analyst’s A grade.
