NFL hits Kader Kohou twice and another Dolphins player with news they did not want to hear before Cardinals game

The NFL released its regular round of punishments and fines from week 7, and Miami Dolphins cornerback Kader Kohou won't be happy about it. He was punished twice for actions that happened during the Dolphins loss to the Indianapolis Colts last week.

Kohou was fined $5,528 for unsportsmanlike conduct (violent gesture) in the first quarter, and then another $5,527 for the same reason in the third quarter of the Colts game.

To make things ever worse, Kohou injured his neck. He did not practice the entire week and was ruled out of the Arizona Cardinals game.

More fines

Kohou was punished twice, but he is not the only Miami Dolphins player punished by the league. Fullback Alec Ingold was fined $17,455 for unnecessary roughness (low block) in a play in the first quarter of the Colts game.

While it's tough to see football players losing money like that for normal plays, at least it goes to a good cause. The fines collected are donated to the Professional Athletes Foundation to support legends in need.
