Just last month legendary NFL quarterback Terry Bradshaw announced the latest step in his media career following a Hall of Fame playing career.
After helping the Pittsburgh Steelers to four Super Bowl titles, Bradshaw has become a beloved analyst in the game he once played, but that was just the beginning of his media journey. Bradshaw and his family were chronicled on The Bradshaw Bunch, a reality series on E! Entertainment from 2020-2022.
Just a few years later, the entire family pitched in for a new media venture - this time focusing their efforts on a cookbook, which hit shelves on Sept. 16. A week after the book officially hit shelves, USA Today named it a bestseller.
As fans flocked to stores to get their hands on a copy, Bradshaw and his wife Tammy were spotted in a local store in North Texas signing copies for fans. It didn't take long for the cookbooks - over 50 pictured in the photo - to sell out.
While the Bradshaws were happy to sign cookbooks for fans, they had a rule against signing any kind of sports or fan memorabilia. "Please do not bring any sports/fan memorabilia, they will only be signing cookbooks today," a message read.
During the signing Bradshaw was asked how much of the family's meals he currently cooks and while the former quarterback admitted it's "not much" the book highlights his skills on the grill.
"Nothing brings together America’s first family of football like a home-cooked meal. Whether it’s game day, a holiday, or an everyday gathering of the clan, when the Bradshaws get together it’s always a party, and no one leaves hungry," a promotional message for the cookbook read.
"As Terry and son-in-law Noah work the grill and smoker, you’ll find wife Tammy joined in the kitchen by daughters Lacey and Rachel, everyone contributing their specialties to a feast worthy of a Hall of Famer. Drawing on the family’s Southern heritage, their Texas roots, and an ever-evolving roster of new classics, The Bradshaw Family Cookbook offers nearly one hundred recipes that provide maximum flavor with minimal effort."
