NFL Legend Terry Bradshaw Makes Announcement on Wednesday
Jasen Vinlove-USA TODAY Sports

Terry Bradshaw’s football resume has long secured his place among the most recognizable names in NFL history. The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback played 14 seasons in the league, won four Super Bowls, earned two Super Bowl MVPs and was named NFL MVP in 1978.

He threw for 27,989 yards and 212 touchdowns in his career and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1989. Bradshaw remains one of the defining quarterbacks of the 1970s Steelers dynasty and one of the most decorated players of his era.

Bradshaw moved into broadcasting after retiring from the NFL and has been a fixture on Fox NFL Sunday since 1994, making him one of the longest-running personalities in NFL studio coverage.

Beyond television, he owns several businesses and has worked in film, music, public speaking and reality television, including The Bradshaw Bunch. Even at 77, he remains a staple of NFL coverage and one of the most popular former players in the sport.

Bradshaw added another project on June when he announced the release of a new memoir, Looking for Terry: A Memoir. The book is scheduled to be released on Oct. 13, 2026 through Harper Select and marks Bradshaw’s first memoir in more than two decades. The announcement was made Monday, with the publisher describing it as a deeply personal look at Bradshaw’s life on and off the field.

On Wednesday, Bradshaw followed that announcement with an update for fans on Instagram, sharing a pre-order offer tied to the memoir.

As for the book itself, Looking for Terry is centered on Bradshaw’s life beyond the public version of him that football fans have known for decades.

According to the publisher’s announcement, the memoir explores his career, fame, family life, faith, personal struggles and the search for identity behind one of the NFL’s biggest personalities. It is being positioned as Bradshaw’s most personal book yet, with a focus on what life has looked like behind the Hall of Fame résumé and television persona.
