NFL Legend Tom Brady Announces Breaking News on Thursday

Tom Brady is set to enter his second NFL postseason as part of Fox Sports’ lead broadcast team, alongside Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews. In his first year, the NFL great called Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, and will open this postseason calling the wild card matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the defending Super Bowl champions.

Brady, who won seven Super Bowls during his playing career with the New England Patriots (6) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1), has done far more than call games since retiring. The former quarterback has invested in a number of ventures, becoming a minority owner in several sports organizations, including the Las Vegas Raiders, while also launching his own lifestyle and apparel brands.

And following last year’s Super Bowl, Brady purchased a 50% stake in Chris Costa's sports cards and collectibles chain CardVault, which has since rebranded as CardVault by Tom Brady. The investment stemmed from Brady’s longtime interest in the hobby, which he said has “been part of my DNA since childhood.”

Brady purchased the chain when it only had six locations, including Chicago, Boston, Mashantucket (Connecticut), Foxborough (Massachusetts), East Hampton (New York) and East Rutherford (New Jersey). Since then, Brady has helped open four new stores in SOHO (New York), Dallas, Mall of America (Bloomington, Minnesota) and Las Vegas, bringing the total number of locations to 10.

But Brady has three additional locations planned, all in California. It was recently revealed that the first store in the state will open in Sacramento, with a grand opening slated for January, though no date was confirmed. Two additional locations are planned for the Bay Area, with one rumored to be located across the street from the San Francisco Giants’ Oracle Park.

And on Thursday, CardVault by Tom Brady announced that the Sacramento location will officially open Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Downtown Commons near the Golden 1 Center, home of the Sacramento Kings. Brady also shared the announcement on his Instagram Story.

"SACRAMENTO ," CardVault by Tom Brady wrote on Instagram. "We are thrilled to announce we'll be opening our doors this Tuesday 1/13. Join us for some opening day exclusive giveaways and other surprises "

While Brady awaits the grand opening of his 11th CardVault location, he will be back in action for Fox Sports, calling the NFC wild card game on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
