Tom Brady has made a lot of moves to expand his post-NFL portfolio following his retirement from the game in 2023. One of his most substantial investments comes in the form of his minority ownership stake in English soccer team Birmingham City Football Club.
On Saturday, Birmingham City pulled off a massive win in the EFL League One, the second-highest division of English football, against Blackburn Rovers. Brady was not at Ewood Park in England to watch the match, but the result still blew away the soon-to-be Hall of Famer.
Brady could not hide his excitement on social media after the win.
“On the road, extra time, still fighting 2 goals in 8 minutes to take all 3 points. LET’S GO BLUES ,” he posted on his Instagram stories.

Brady wasn’t done flexing the win. Seven hours later, he posted about Birmingham City’s 2-1 victory again. The seven-time Super Bowl champion shouted out striker Lyndon Dykes for his match-winning extra-time goal. “Still thinking about that finish ,” Brady wrote.
In his next post, the 15-time Pro Bowl QB shared a video of the 98th-minute goal, congratulating winger Demarai Gray for the “cool under pressure” assist.
Saturday’s victory saw Birmingham City secure its first win of the new season following the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town on August 9. They now have four points after two matches played.
Brady was clearly hyped about his team’s first victory of the campaign, and he made sure to let everyone on social media know about it.
