Following the Bills’ 33-30 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 6, the league said Franklin was suspended due to an “act of unsportsmanlike conduct.”
Franklin was accused of spitting on a Raiders player, but the Buffalo DB denied such allegations, as he posted a video on social media.
Bills safety Sam Franklin has posted the slo-mo video of him getting hit in the groin on his official IG page, with the hashtag #notthemcnuggets, and a caption reading, in part, “still won’t spit on anyone!” I’m told Franklin will appeal his 1-game suspension. https://t.co/QlXnMDrVuU

In the same game, Bills veteran CJ Gardner-Johnson was ejected for spitting on Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, and he was then suspended by the league for one game.
The Bills have a bye in Week 7, but Franklin will be able to play in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.
