NFL Makes Halftime Show Announcement for Steelers Game

Roger Goodell and the NFL continue to promote the league to international audiences this season, bringing several games to different cities outside the United States, such as London, Rio de Janeiro and Madrid. However, a scheduled game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints in Paris promises to elevate the football experience for fans even more.

The game between the Steelers and Saints will pit Aaron Rodgers and his vast veteran experience against Tyler Shough and his massive potential. That contrast could make this battle a compelling storyline for French fans, especially with each signal-caller facing pressure to deliver for their respective franchises.

The showdown is set for Oct. 25 at the Stade de France after the league completes its three-game run in London.

Interestingly, fans have another reason to watch the Steelers-Saints game next month when the NFL comes to Paris. Apart from catching Rodgers and Shough, supporters who’ll be attending can see Burna Boy perform during halftime.

In an announcement on social media, the NFL revealed that Burna Boy will headline the halftime show.

“Grammy Award-winning artist @burnaboygram is set to headline the halftime show at the 2026 NFL Paris Game!” the NFL wrote.

Hailing from Nigeria, Burna Boy has captured audiences worldwide with his Afro-fusion style of music. He has also made history as the first artist from his country to earn back-to-back nominations at the Grammys, eventually winning the Best Global Music award.

Burna Boy has also put on sold-out performances in the United States and the United Kingdom, cementing his status as a global music superstar.

While the Steelers-Saints game is the main attraction that everyone is looking forward to, there’s a chance Burna Boy can steal the show in France. With a historic venue and an audience excited to see some American football, the Paris matchup offers another opportunity for the NFL to leave its mark overseas.
