Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes has already had one of the greatest quarterback careers in NFL history. In 119 regular-season games, Mahomes has completed 66.6% of his passes for 34,152 yards and 259 touchdowns with 76 interceptions. His 287.0 passing yards per game is the most of all time.
His incredible numbers have led to six Pro Bowls, two First Team All-Pro selections, two NFL AP MVP awards and three Super Bowl titles.
His stellar play has continued this season, as he has led the Chiefs to a 4-3 record with 1,800 passing yards and 14 touchdowns with just two interceptions. He has also scored four more times on the ground.
The 30-year-old quarterback was drafted by the Chiefs with the 10th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. After playing just one game in his rookie season, Mahomes took over as the team's starter in 2018 and hasn't looked back since.
Last week, Mahomes led the Chiefs to a 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. He went 26-of-35 passing in the game for 286 yards and three touchdowns. With this win, he made some league history and passed a legend in the process.
The win over the Raiders gave Mahomes his 93rd career regular-season victory as a starter, passing Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Peyton Manning for the most wins all time before a quarterback's 31st birthday.
On Monday, ahead of the Chiefs' battle against the Washington Commanders on "Monday Night Football," the NFL praised Mahomes on social media for this accomplishment.
"Mahomes keeps making history ," the caption read.
