The Chicago Bears are once again being doubted. The NFL Network’s analysts made their choices clear on who they think will win the NFC North this season, and all three of them did not pick the defending champions. Chicago won the division in 2025 with an 11-6 record and reached the Divisional Round.
The Bears are on a two-game winning streak, bouncing back strong after their Week 5 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Caleb Williams returned to action in Week 6 after missing the previous three games due to a hamstring injury. He has shown no signs of being hampered by it and has recorded back-to-back outings with 300-plus passing yards.
Chicago also entered last season with many not believing that they can win the NFC North. However, the team proved them wrong and is hungrier than ever this year to surpass its 2025 achievements.
The three analysts revealed their picks on Sunday. Rich Eisen chose the Detroit Lions, Steve Mariucci picked the Green Bay Packers and Gerald McCoy believes the Minnesota Vikings will emerge on top of the NFC North.

The Vikings are currently leading the division with a 6-0 record, while the Bears are 5-2. There’s still a lot of games left in the season, with Chicago having a chance to turn doubters into believers. The analysts’ picks could also serve as extra motivation for the Bears to win the NFC North for the second straight year.
They will return to action on Nov. 2 when they visit the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. It’s a big test as they’ll clash with the defending Super Bowl champions. However, it gives the team an opportunity to send a strong message to the rest of the competition. ESPN will broadcast the “Monday Night Football” game live at 8:15 p.m. ET.
