The NFL announced Thursday that some changes are being made to the Week 14 schedule.

Week 14 will kick off on Dec. 4 with the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions on Amazon Prime Video's "Thursday Night Football." The early afternoon slate on Dec. 7 will be headlined by an intriguing AFC matchup.

It was confirmed by the NFL that kickoff for the Cincinnati Bengals and Buffalo Bills has been shifted to 1 p.m. ET. Initially, it was supposed to take place at 4:25 p.m. ET. If Joe Burrow is healthy for that game, it'll be fun to see if he can match Josh Allen score for score.

Since the Bengals-Bills game is moving to the 1 p.m. slot, the NFL has flexed the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers into the 4:25 p.m. ET time slot. That makes sense considering those teams are vying for first place in the NFC North.

NFC North race heating up.

The Bears are currently in first place in the division at 7-3. They've won their past three games in thrilling fashion.

In Week 9, Colston Loveland scored a game-winning touchdown against the Bengals with just 17 seconds left on the clock. The very next week, Caleb Williams had a go-ahead touchdown with under two minutes remaining against the New York Giants. As for this past Sunday, the Bears defeated the Minnesota Vikings on a 48-yard field goal from Cairo Santos as time expired.

If the Bears want to win the NFC North for the first time since 2018, they need to take care of business against the Packers on Dec. 7.
