NFL player prop bets for Week 15 and beyond

Yardbarker's  Ryan Fowler runs down some NFL  player prop bets for Week 15 and beyond.

The Los Angeles Chargers' 29-28 comeback win at Kansas City Thursday night wasn't pretty, but it was effective. Philip Rivers' touchdown pass to Mike Williams with four seconds to go and go-ahead two-point conversion to follow improved their record to 11-3 and secured an AFC playoff berth. With the outright win and +3 1/2-point spread cover, the Chargers are now 6-1 against the spread on the road this season.

A fellow elite quarterback hasn't been so fortunate away from home and that's where we'll kick off our NFL Week 15 prop bet rundown.

Aaron Rodgers - Total Interceptions Thrown In The 2018 Regular Season

Aaron Rodgers - Total Interceptions Thrown In The 2018 Regular Season
Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Over 1.5 (-115) | Under 1.5 (-125)

Aaron Rodgers has thrown only one interception in 495 pass attempts this season. However, his opponent this week, Chicago, leads the NFL with 25 interceptions. The Packers are 0-6 on the road this season and with the way the Bears have been playing, especially at home, chances are Green Bay and Rodgers may have rally back at some point, which means more pass attempts. This translates into forcing passes into tight windows and presenting opportunities for the Bears secondary to pick one off and take it to the house.

How Many Challenges Will Joe Philbin Use In Week 15?

Odds: Over 0.5 (+145) | Under (-190)

The Packers interim head coach got some (well-deserved) grief on Twitter last week when he burned both of his challenges within the first three plays of the Packers game against the Falcons. I LOVE the over here at +145 (Risk $100 to win $145) as I believe Philbin and moreso Aaron Rodgers want to do everything in their power to finish the regular season on a four-game winning streak. The NFL is a game of inches and that's when the challenge flag is thrown.

Will Steve Sarkisian Be The Offensive Coordinator Of The Falcons For Game 1 Of The 2019 Regular Season?

Will Steve Sarkisian Be The Offensive Coordinator Of The Falcons For Game 1 Of The 2019 Regular Season?
Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Yes (+130) | No (-170)

Granted the Falcons lost starting running back Devonta Freeman for the season due to injury, but with all the weapons they still possess, including Julio Jones who have played really well the past two months, Atlanta should not rank 26th in total offense and 29th in scoring, right? Sark is on thin ice that I'm afraid will break once the Dirty Birds nightmare season ends in a few weeks.

Will Nick Chubb Score A Touchdown In Week 15?

Will Nick Chubb Score A Touchdown In Week 15?
Scott Galvin-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Yes (-155) | No (+115)

The Browns rookie running back has scored at least one touchdown in five straight games and six of his past seven. The Broncos defense has allowed the third-fewest rushing touchdowns this season - eight in 13 games. With how well the Browns have played since Hue Jackson and Todd Haley were fired, it'll be interesting to see how the offense will fare playing in Denver's high-elevation. Even the mightiest of offensively talented squads, like the Steelers a few weeks ago, are sucking wind as they try to score.

Total Completions In Week 15 - Josh Johnson

Total Completions In Week 15 - Josh Johnson
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Over 18.5 (-120) | Under 18.5 (-120)

With Alex Smith and Colt McCoy both out for the season and Mark Sanchez's inability / disinterest in playing NFL quarterback anymore, the Redskins will hand the ball to Josh Johnson in their Week 15 matchup at Jacksonville. It's not an ideal location for Johnson to make his first start since 2011. Remember, though the Jaguars defense has regressed mightily throughout the course of the 2018 season, they did just shut Andrew Luck and Colts out two weeks ago. With the Redskins offensive line so banged up, I could see Johnson pulling a Josh Allen, tucking the ball and running rather than challenge the Jaguars secondary.

Total Rushing Yards Week 15 - Josh Allen

Total Rushing Yards Week 15 - Josh Allen
Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Over 46.5 (-140) | Under 46.5 (EVEN)

Speaking of Josh Allen, the Bills rookie quarterback racked up another 101 rushing yards in the team's loss to the Jets last weekend. He's now averaging 111.6 rush yards per game the past three weeks. With limited options in the passing game and LeSean McCoy nursing a hamstring injury, Allen will do what he does best and pick up at least 50 rushing yards against the Lions this weekend.

Will The Dallas Cowboys Win The Remainder Of Their Regular Season Games In The 2018-2019 Season?

Will The Dallas Cowboys Win The Remainder Of Their Regular Season Games In The 2018-2019 Season?
Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Yes (+600) | No (-1200)

Look at that Garrett grin! What a difference a five-game win streak and an Amari Cooper make, right? In order to win this prop, they have to beat the Colts on the road, Buccaneers at home and Giants on the road. If T.Y. Hilton can't play this weekend, I like the Cowboys to pull the upset at Indy. Despite playing better, the Buccaneers haven't faced a defense as good as Dallas the past month and winning inside the Jerry dome is no picnic and what a better way to wrap the season up than with a big win over your division rival. If everybody stays healthy, I don't see why Dallas can't win these next three games. However, if Hilton suits up against Dallas, he's a gamechanger and proved this just a week ago when he racked up nearly 200 receiving yards against the Texans.

The Bet: Yes (Hilton caveat)

Derrick Henry - Total 100 Or More Rushing Yard Games In The 2018 Regular Season

Derrick Henry - Total 100 Or More Rushing Yard Games In The 2018 Regular Season
Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Over 1.5 (+175) | Under 1.5 (-260)

Through the first 12 games of the season, Derrick Henry averaged 39.5 rush yards per game without a 100-yard performance. Against the Jaguars last week, he rushed 17 times for 238 yards with four touchdowns. If you've watched any Titans games this season, their offensive strategy appears to be "survive and advance" to the next possession. That is to say, they don't have much of a strategy especially with Marcus Mariota injured so often. The Titans are one of the toughest NFL's to crack as their Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personas don't appear any clearer 14 weeks into the season.

Amari Cooper Total Receiving Yards vs. Colts

Amari Cooper Total Receiving Yards vs. Colts

Odds: Over 99.5 (-120) | Under 99.5 (-120)

Over the past three weeks, Cooper has averaged 157.6 receiving yards per game. However, the Colts just held DeAndre Hopkins to four receptions and 36 yards. Indy's defense has held opposing offenses to 186 passing yards per game the pass three weeks. With Dallas offensive lineman Zack Martin questionable, but likely to play at less than 100% - I think the Colts pass rush can get to Dak and make things uncomfortable, which doesn't bode well for Cooper's chances of hitting the century mark again.

How Many 50 Yard Or More Touchdowns Will Saquon Barkley Record In The 2018 Regular Season?

How Many 50 Yard Or More Touchdowns Will Saquon Barkley Record In The 2018 Regular Season?
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Over 5.5 (+285) | Under (-470)

Barkley and Randy Moss are the only two players in NFL history to score five-or-more touchdowns of 50-or-more yards in their rookie season. One of this season's Rookie of the Year favorites, Barkley faces the Titans, Colts and Cowboys rush defenses the final three weeks of the season. Typically one would say his best chance to rip off another 50-yarder would be against the weakest rush defense, which would be Tennessee this weekend. However, Barkley's ability to make something out of nothing has redefined the idiom and I believe he could accomplish the feat at least one more time over the next three weeks assuming he continues to touch the ball ~20 times per game.

Will The Washington Redskins Lose Their Last 3 Games Of The 2018 Regular Season?

Will The Washington Redskins Lose Their Last 3 Games Of The 2018 Regular Season?
Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Yes (+125) | No (-165)

It appears good club-level seats are still available for remaining Redskins home games. Unfortunately (fortunately?), two of Washington's three remaining games are on the road. With Josh Johnson making his first start since 2011 at Jacksonville this weekend, I'm going to chalk that up as a loss. Washington then has to travel to Tennessee where the Titans will likely be playing for their playoff lives. It all comes down to Week 17 when the 'Skins host a Philadelphia squad likely missing Carson Wentz. The defending Super Bowl champs are playing for pride at this point and so long as the Eagles don't sustain any more injuries to their defense, should pick up a moral victory to end the 2018 season.

Will Tom Coughlin Be The Head Coach Of The Jaguars For Game 1 Of The 2019 Regular Season?

Will Tom Coughlin Be The Head Coach Of The Jaguars For Game 1 Of The 2019 Regular Season?
Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Odds: Yes (+200) | No (-300)

Considering the Jaguars went from Super Bowl contender last season to 4-9 through 14 weeks this season, it's safe to say Doug Marrone's tenure as Jacksonville's head coach is nearing an abrupt end. However, at 72 years old, I'm not sure Coughlin is the guy to take over when the Jaguars require a much-needed rebuild on offense. If Coughlin were the Jaguars next head coach, Marrone should have been fired after the loss at Tennessee and Coughlin inserted as interim head coach of the 2019 season. Perhaps, the veteran coach enjoys his role as front office guru as he'll be a busy man head into next year's free agency and draft.

Will The Carolina Panthers Lose Their Last 3 Games Of The 2018 Regular Season?

Will The Carolina Panthers Lose Their Last 3 Games Of The 2018 Regular Season?

Odds: Yes (+300) | No (-500)

Cam Newton is not healthy and 75% of the offense is running through Christian McCaffrey, which is not sustainable the final three weeks of the season. They'll lose this week to the Saints who are eager to break out of their recent funk. However, Week 16's home matchup against the Falcons is definitely winnable as the Falcons are just trying to reach the finish line. Plus, Atlanta has been unable to stop opposing running backs all season especially hybrid-backs like McCaffrey.

Odds: Yes (+115) | No (-155)

Doug Pederson isn't going anywhere. So, when the defending Super Bowl champs don't even qualify for the playoffs the following year, somebody has to take the heat. It'll be Groh. The Eagles currently rank 19th in total and 21st in scoring offense. They finished the 2017 regular season ranked 7th and 3rd in those statistical categories, respectively. While injuries have plagued the Eagles on both sides of the football, Groh was the one who was ill-prepared to blend Golden Tate into the offense when the receiver was the franchise's "big" trade deadline acquisition.

Who Will Win Super Bowl LIII?

Who Will Win Super Bowl LIII?
Icon Sportswire/Getty Images

Odds: AFC Team (+120) | NFC Team (-160)

At 5-to-2, the Los Angeles Rams remain a slight Super Bowl favorite over the New Orleans Saints. Granted, Drew Brees and Saints offense hasn't looked as sharp the past two times out, but it's safe to say their defense is much better than the Rams. Also, after watching Jared Goff's effort at Chicago last week, the Saints also have the more reliable quarterback leading them into the playoffs. The NFC should be the favorite to the win the Super Bowl, but I like New Orleans over the Rams at the moment.

The Bet: Saints at 3-to-1
