We're finally here. It's time for the postseason in the NFL.
There's no better time of year, and the NFL is starting up with some juicy matchups on Wild Card weekend.
If you want a guide to exactly how the NFL's postseason is going to play out, we have that for you here.
Steelers vs Ravens
An old-school slobber knocker in the AFC, which is currently the best rivalry in all of football.
The Steelers have a puncher's chance because of how good their defense is, and you know Mike Tomlin should be able to keep things close, at least for a little bit.
Unfortunately, the disparity at quarterback is going to be too much to overcome.
Lamar Jackson has had his struggles in the playoffs, but there will be no struggles this time around.
The Ravens win, and get ready to head to Buffalo for a showdown between the NFL's top two MVP candidates.
Chargers vs Texans
Jim Harbaugh makes his postseason debut in the AFC, facing a Houston Texans team that was one of the trendy picks to win this year's Super Bowl.
The Chargers' defense is trending up, while the Texans' offense is going the other way.
Justin Herbert is as talented as they come, and he's finally going to shake the stigma of never having won a playoff game.
CJ Stroud and the Texans, much like another trendy pick, are going home early with a lot of questions to answer.
Chargers 24 Texans 20
Bills vs Broncos
There are some thoughts that this game could be close, but I'm not buying that. Josh Allen is playing as well as anyone.
Buffalo's defense is not great, but they're at home and facing a rookie quarterback in the playoffs.
As nice of a story as Bo Nix has been this season, this one is going to be over early.
Bills 34 Broncos 10
Chiefs vs Chargers
A win in the first round for Harbaugh and the Chargers gets them a date at GEHA field with the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
These two teams have always played each other tough, and the Chargers are better equipped for this moment with Harbaugh at the controls.
Are you really going to bet against Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes at home in the playoffs?
Chiefs 24 Chargers 17
Bills vs Ravens
The Divisional Round usually sets up for the best games of the season, and this might be the best game of the postseason.
Josh Allen vs Lamar Jackson.
If MVP voting included the postseason, this game could wind up being a tiebreaker for the award.
If this game were in Baltimore, it might swing in Baltimore's favor, but since it's in Buffalo, we'll give the edge to Allen.
Bills 30 Ravens 27
Chiefs vs Bills
The two best teams and the two best quarterbacks facing off on championship Sunday.
Is there anything better?
This should be another instant classic.
It has not mattered find the postseason whether the game was in Kansas City or Buffalo, the Chiefs have had the Bills' number.
That is going to continue, as Kansas City's quest for a three-peat continues all the way down to New Orleans.
Chiefs 27 Bills 24
Packers vs Eagles
Like the Texans, the Packers were a trendy pick to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl.
They are better than they were last year when they snuck into the playoffs as a seventh-seed.
The Eagles took last year's collapse personally and nearly ran all the way to the top seed in the NFC.
In fact, had it not been for Jalen Hurts' concussion, they may not have slipped up against Washington late in the year, which could have netted them a bye this week.
Instead, they get to face a team they met earlier in the season.
Playoff games between these two teams are always entertaining, and this should be no exception.
Ultimately, the Packers did not win any games against teams with a better record than them. Their passing offense is scuffling, and the Eagles have been here before.
It feels like a game where they make one more play than the young Packers.
Eagles 31 Packers 27
Rams vs Vikings
Another rematch from earlier in the regular season pits these two teams on Monday Night Football.
The Vikings just missed out on the NFC North title, and will be the first 14-win Wild Card team in NFL history
Matthew Stafford is standing on the other sideline, and he's as capable as having a high-level performance as he is coming up small.
Stafford was successful against Minnesota's defense the first time these two teams met, and should be able to find some opportunities there.
Sam Darnold has had a great season, but looked like someone who the moment was too big for last weekend in Detroit.
He'll play better this time around, but Sean McVay will get the best of his former understudy Kevin O'Connell.
Rams 27 Vikings 24
Bucs vs Commanders
It's unlikely either one of these teams can make a run to the Super Bowl, but they're both incredibly exciting, which should make for an excellent matchup in the first round.
Jayden Daniels is a shoo-in for Offensive Rookie of the Year. Baker Mayfield has been reborn in Tampa Bay.
This should be a back-and-forth affair, with Mayfield making one final play at the end.
Bucs 34 Commanders 31
Lions vs Rams
Matthew Stafford returns to Detroit for a showdown with his former franchise.
The Lions have flourished since trading Stafford to Los Angeles, and Stafford won his Super Bowl during his first season with the Rams.
The Lions' defense is ravaged by injuries, which means the Rams should be able to put up some points.
Detroit's offense, however, is set up to score against anyone. David Montgomery reportedly could return for this game, which should give them a boost.
Ultimately, the tandem of Sonic and Knuckles is going to be too much for the Rams to overcome.
Jared Goff wins the revenge game in the postseason.
Lions 34 Rams 30
Eagles vs Bucs
In another rematch from the regular season, this one should have a drastically different result.
The Eagles lost to the Bucs earlier in the season, but played that day without AJ Brown and Devonta Smith.
Both should be healthy for this game, and Saquon Barkley is in MVP form.
The Eagles' offensive line should be able to hold off Tampa Bay's defense.
This game, however, will be about the Eagles' top-ranked defense swarming Tampa Bay's offense, setting up for a heavyweight fight in the NFC Championship Game.
Eagles 27 Bucs 10
Lions vs Eagles
Defense wins championships, right?
Well, not exactly, but in a game like this one, it could come down to which defense is able to make more stops.
Jared Goff and the Lions' offense can move the ball at will.
Detroit's defense is susceptible to giving up big plays, which the Eagles are more than capable of making.
This game will have points, but it will ultimately come down to Philadelphia's pass rush making Goff uncomfortable, and sending the Eagles to their third Super Bowl since the 2017 season.
Eagles 31 Lions 30
Chiefs vs Eagles
A rematch from Super Bowl 57 emerges on Bourbon St in New Orleans.
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles will be looking for revenge against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.
The two teams are different than the last time they met.
The Eagles have more star power in the backfield. The Chiefs, despite all the eyes being on Mahomes and Kelce, are led by their defense.
Philadelphia's defense is better in the secondary than they were two years ago.
That could be the difference against a Kansas City offense that has struggled at the skill position this season.
Ultimately, nobody in NFL history has won three consecutive titles in the Super Bowl era.
If any team is set up to do it, its the Chiefs, but we'll take the Eagles to get some revenge, and deny the Chiefs of history.
Eagles 24 Chiefs 20
