The Las Vegas Raiders are leaving their bye week and entering Week 14 with some good and bad news. The good news is that the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos lost. The bad news is the Los Angeles Chargers won, and so did a few other teams that are ahead of them in the standing for the wild card spots.
There are three wild card spots. Right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, and Houston Texans have a four-way tie for those three spots. So, with five games left, things aren't looking as great as they could be for the Raiders. But there is still time left.
The Raiders need a few miracles to happen. If they win out, which means they win the next five games, they will sit at 10-7. But they will need more than a few teams
to lose more than a few games. It's not impossible, but it's certainly a miracle. Here is how the playoff picture is shaping up:
1. Miami Dolphins (9-3)
2. Baltimore Ravens (9-3)
3. Kansas City Chiefs (8-3)
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3)
5. Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4)
6. Cleveland Browns (7-5)
7. Indianapolis Colts (7-5)
8. Houston Texans (7-5)
9. Denver Broncos (6-6)
10. Buffalo Bills (6-6)
11. Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
12. Los Angeles Chargers (5-7)
13. Las Vegas Raiders (5-7)
