NFL reporter shares daughter's adorable Aaron Rodgers-related homework assignment

The seemingly never-ending Aaron Rodgers saga of will he or won't he join the New York Jets led to an adorable homework assignment from the daughter of The Ringer senior editor Lindsay Jones.

While Jones' daughter doesn't mention the four-time MVP by name, there's no doubt she's referring to Rodgers when she writes "the Packer's qarterback." Bonus points should be awarded to "Lena" for the epic drawing, which presumably depicts her mom typing away at her laptop.

The drawn-out drama about Rodgers' future could possibly, finally be coming to a conclusion soon, as the 39-year-old signal-caller is scheduled to make an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" at 1 p.m. ET on Wednesday.

A group including Jets owner Woody Johnson, general manager Joe Douglas, head coach Robert Saleh, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett and others flew to California to meet with the Green Bay Packers legend in person last week. It was reported on Thursday that there was "optimism" in the organization that they were "on the brink" of acquiring Rodgers.

On Thursday night, New York's stud cornerback Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner followed through on one of his promises to Rodgers, burning the Packers cheesehead that he wore following the Jets October 2022 win at Lambeau Field.

Then on Tuesday, it was reported that the 10-time Pro Bowler had provided the Jets a "wish list" of players he wanted Gang Green to acquire before he agreed to join the team. Among the receiving options Rodgers apparently wanted New York to get was career-long Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard, who the Jets then reportedly picked up later on Tuesday.

Fortunately, for Jones and her daughter -- and any other people depending on Rodgers' upcoming decision -- it looks like the highly anticipated announcement is at last, coming soon.
