Brandon Aubrey was one of the bright spots in what turned out to be a forgettable season for the Dallas Cowboys. Despite a noteworthy mid-season surge, the Cowboys still finished the campaign with a 7-9-1 record for second in the NFC East and 12th in the conference. Dallas missed the playoffs for the second straight season.

Aubrey, however, had another big year. He played all 17 games, registering 36-of-42 completed field goal attempts (85.7%) and 47-of-48 completed extra point attempts (97.9%). This led to Aubrey being named to the All-Pro second team for a second straight year. He is also attending the Pro Bowl Games for a third straight season.

Aubrey’s transition to the NFL has been incredible. The former professional soccer player retired from the sport after brief stints in the MLS and USL. He worked as a software engineer for a while before fully transitioning to football.

Aubrey joined the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2023. He made an immediate impact in his first season, earning an All-Pro first team nod as a rookie.

Aubrey has continued to establish himself as one of the best kickers in the NFL today. He has earned a reputation for scoring field goals from way out. This past season, he made 11 field goals from beyond 50 yards, including a season-high 64-yard field goal.

On Tuesday, the NFL posted an Aubrey highlight reel containing some of his most awe-inspiring field goals throughout his career.

“@baubs10 hitting 60-yard field goals like it’s routine ” the league posted on Instagram ahead of the 2026 Pro Bowl Game.

This will be Aubrey’s third time in the Pro Bowl games. He will join six of his teammates for this year’s festivities. Dak Prescott , George Pickens, Quinnen Williams and Tyler Smith were all voted into the Games as well. Jake Ferguson and KaVontae Turpin were selected as replacements.

The 2026 Pro Bowl Games will take place on Feb. 3 at Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
