NFL 'SNF' Week 15: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Baltimore Ravens betting picks, preview

The biggest game of the Week 15 NFL slate is going down on "Sunday Night Football," as the Jacksonville Jaguars will host the Baltimore Ravens in a critical matchup for AFC playoff positioning. Let's break down the prime-time battle and find some winning bets for "SNF."

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Baltimore Ravens betting odds, preview

Spread: Ravens -3.5, Over/under: 42.5, Moneyline: Ravens -175 | Jaguars +145

The AFC playoff race is starting to heat up with four weeks left in the season, and this matchup will go a long way in determining the final seeding. The Ravens currently hold the No. 1 seed at 10-3, but the 8-5 Jaguars can creep within one game of Baltimore with a win on Sunday night.

Jacksonville is coming off two straight losses against the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns, but Trevor Lawrence should be closer to 100 percent after playing through an ankle injury last week. Lawrence threw three interceptions against the Browns and didn't look fully healthy in the game.

As for the Ravens, they've won three straight and seven of their last eight games. Baltimore gave up 410 yards and 31 points to the Los Angeles Rams last week, but the defense still ranks No. 2 in the NFL in yards allowed per game and points allowed per game. This is the healthiest the Ravens have been all season, and they have a chance this week to make another statement on prime time.

'Sunday Night Football' betting picks

Over 42.5 (-110 DraftKings)

We see both offenses having success in this game. Matthew Stafford proved last week that this Ravens defense can be torched down the field. Luckily for us, the Jaguars are much better at moving the ball through the air. A healthy Lawrence will be able to create explosive plays in the passing game as long as his offensive line gives him enough time.

On the other side of the ball, Lamar Jackson is starting to find a groove without Mark Andrews, and he can exploit a Jags defense that ranks 24th in the NFL in yards allowed per pass attempt.

Travis Etienne under 53.5 rushing yards (-110 DK)

The Ravens struggled to contain Kyren Williams on the ground last week, but this is a much easier matchup against an overmatched Jaguars offensive line. Etienne has gone over 53.5 rushing yards just once in his last five games. He's averaged just 3.3 yards per carry over that stretch.

Jacksonville hasn't been effective at running the football in the second half of the season. A date with Roquan Smith and Patrick Queen isn't what the Jags need to get back on track.
