The 2025-26 NFL regular season is finally here. On the first Sunday Night Football of the year, the schedulers assigned a potential AFC finals matchup between the Bills and Ravens. What will be the difference when these two top-ten offenses of last year collide in a massive Week One contest? All 2024-25 offensive, defensive, and turnover stats provided by Fox Sports.

The Buffalo Bills On NFL SNF

Finishing ninth in rushing and passing yards last year, the Bills are the more complete offense. Their MVP quarterback, Josh Allen, led the team to an impressive 30.9 PPG, and the defense is underrated, too. Whilele finishing lower than the Ravens in overall defense last season, that was largely thanks to their 24th-ranked pass defense. The team has made moves to increase its potential, including a defense-focused NFL Draft. The team already had a top-ten run defense, which is going to be an issue for their opponent.

The Baltimore Ravens On NFL SNF

When fans think of last year’s Ravens, it’s quarterback Lamar Jackson and running back Derrick Henry rushing down the field. This is a fair point considering their top-ranked overall and rushing offense. Their defense is also off-balance. They finished with the best rush defense in the NFL, but could also give up large chunks of passing yards.

NFL SNF Prediction

The Ravens ‘ weaknesses will be their downfall against the more complete team. Much better against the run, the Bills’ defense has a favorable matchup. Allen should be able to find the holes in their pass defense, while always posing a risk to run for a first down at any time. Baltimore will put up points, but Buffalo’s defense should give last year’s MVP enough of a cushion to work with.

End Of My NFL Rant

Bodog currently has the total at 51.0, which feels low. It’s not often fans can take the Bills moneyline at home for even money, either. Buffalo is also less likely to beat themselves. They had the best turnover margin at 24, while their opponents finished at six.
