The past quarter-century of the NFL is perhaps best characterized as the one that flipped downfield passing attacks into overdrive. Teams have never chucked the rock as prolifically as they do today, and quarterbacks are getting PAID as a result.

But of course, that means something else is true in the inverse: You cannot put a price on a stable of edge rushers that can reliably terrorize those very same QBs. Ask any Seattle Seahawks fan; they'll surely talk your ear off about a certain behemoth and former USC Trojans All-American.

Right on cue, fresh off a Pro Bowl season in 2024, this relentless Hawks sack master just received some major plaudits from the league:
