The top running back of Week 3, Herbert took over for an injured David Montgomery and ran for 157 yards and two scores. He will be a great spot start if Montgomery is forced to miss more time.

After a disappointing rookie season, Lawrence continues to impress in his second year. He tore up the Chargers' defense with 262 yards passing and three scores and has been a starter-quality fantasy option so far.

The guy at wideout in New England seems to be different every week. It was Parker's day in Week 3, as the former Dolphin finished with five catches for 156 yards.

Surprise: James Robinson, RB, Jaguars

The hype in the Jags backfield was on Travis Etienne during draft season, but Robinson has been the clear alpha. He had 17 carries for 100 yards and a score against the Chargers on Sunday and is currently the No. 2 running back this year in PPR scoring.

Surprise: Tre'Quan Smith, WR, Saints

With multiple Saints wideouts getting injured on Sunday, Smith was there to pick up the slack. He had four catches for 105 yards and could be waiting in the wings if Michael Thomas or Jarvis Landry are forced to miss time.

Disappointment: Justin Fields, QB, Bears

The Bears are seemingly operating an offense from the 1960s, but Fields' horrible performance is a big reason. He completed only 8-of-17 passes for 106 yards and two interceptions against the Texans. At this point, Fields is droppable in most leagues.

Disappointment: Justin Jefferson, WR, Vikings

Jefferson tore up the Packers' defense in Week 1, but he's been quiet since then. The superstar wideout finished Week 3 with only three catches for 14 yards in a win against the Lions.

Disappointment: DJ Moore, WR, Panthers

Fantasy managers have reason to fear Baker Mayfield's negative impact on Moore. He has yet to get going, including only one catch for two yards on Sunday after Mayfield completed only 12 passes against the Saints.

Mostert was coming off a huge performance in Week 2, but he could not repeat against the Bills. The running back out-carried Chase Edmonds 8-to-6, but only had 11 yards on the ground.

Disappointment: Carson Wentz, QB, Commanders

Washington was embarrassed by the Eagles, and Wentz's play was a big reason. He completed 25-of-43 passes for 211 yards and no touchdowns. It was quite a fall after producing big numbers in the first two weeks.

Waiver Add: Tyler Conklin, TE, Jets

The Jets offense couldn't get much working in Week 3 against the Bengals, but Conklin had one of the best games of his career with eight catches for 84 yards. The pending return of Zach Wilson could alter his outlook, but Conklin is a definite add after 14 receptions in the last two games.

Waiver Add: Mack Hollins, WR, Raiders

A single good game for Hollins in Week 2 looked like it could be a fluke, but now it's impossible to overlook his performance. Picking up the slack with Hunter Renfroe sidelined, Hollins had eight catches for 158 yards and a touchdown against the Titans. Who would have thought he would lead all Raiders receivers in yards through three weeks?

Waiver Add: Zay Jones, WR, Jaguars

Jones didn't get much attention coming into the season, but he's been productive in the revitalized Jaguars offense. He had 10 catches for 85 yards and a score in Week 3, and now has 60-plus yards in two out of three games.

Waiver Add: Josh Reynolds, WR, Lions

Amon-Ra St. Brown rightfully gets most of the attention among Lions wideouts, but Reynolds is doing more than enough to garner consideration until rookie Jameson Williams gets healthy. He led the Lions with six catches for 96 yards in Week 3 after scoring a touchdown in Week 2.

Waiver Add: Jamaal Williams, RB, Lions

Williams is a must-add where he is still available with Lions starting back D'Andre Swift expected to miss time. He took the reins when Swift was hurt on Sunday, finishing with 20 catches for 87 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
