Tight End University is back for its fifth year, and the annual summer event continues to grow in size, reputation and influence across the league. Designed as a three-day program to unite the tight end community, it also supports various charitable initiatives tied to the NFL offseason, including youth outreach and player mentorship.

As the 2025 edition kicked off, the NFL’s official Instagram posted a photo of the event’s founders, Travis Kelce, Greg Olsen and George Kittle.

"@killatrav always brings it with a mic in his hands "

The post caught the attention of FOX Sports sideline reporter Erin Andrews, who replied simply.

"THE BEST GUYS."

Kelce, one of the co-founders, took center stage at the mic during much of the event. His girlfriend and global pop star Taylor Swift, was also in attendance.

Now 35, Kelce has been with the Kansas City Chiefs since being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL draft out of the University of Cincinnati. Last season was a bit of a down year statistically; he finished with just three touchdowns in the regular season and didn’t find the end zone in the Super Bowl LIX loss to Philadelphia, though he did record four receptions.

Tight End University has grown into more than just a tight end-only affair. High-level athletes from various positions now take part in the sessions, which are hosted at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Current participants include names like Trey McBride, Dallas Goedert and Brock Bowers, showcasing the event’s growing influence across the league.

Tight End University continues to showcase the growing impact of tight ends in today’s NFL, blending football, personality and purpose into one of the league’s standout offseason events.
