Nick Chubb , running back, might soon join the Chicago Bears for the 2025 NFL season according to the latest chatter. Chubb last played for the Cleveland Browns but is currently a free agent and is looking for a new home. The Browns are showing eagerness to bring him back to their locker room, but the Bears seem to be ready to make a move any time soon.
29-year-old Nick Chubb played for the Cleveland Browns all the way from 2018 until last year after the team selected him as the 35th pick in the second round of the NFL draft. Before the league, Chubb played college football for the Georgia Bulldogs from 2014 to 2017. In the 2024 NFL season, Chubb contributed 102 carries for 332 yards, scoring three touchdowns for the team.
“The #Browns want to bring Nick Chubb back. They are trying hard to bring Nick back. I know this. The #Bears are very serious about bringing him in and are trying to make this push,” Ken Carman, host of 92.3 The Fan, said on Thursday about Nick Chubb potentially joining the Chicago Bears for the upcoming NFL season.

The Chicago Bears are seeking someone to help their quarterback Caleb Williams and Nick Chubb seems to be the perfect person for the job. In the previous season, the Chicago Bears finished at the bottom of the NFC North table after winning five games and losing 12. The Bears played their last game of the season against the Green Bay Packers and won 24-22, but the victory was too late for Chicago to proceed to the postseason.
Meanwhile, Nick Chubb is not only being sought out by the Chicago Bears, but numerous other teams as well. While nothing has been officially reported by the teams, there are rumors going around that the Dallas Cowboys and even the Washington Commanders might be hoping to bring in Chubb.
Nick Chubb has been showing off his recent workout routines after an injury cut his season sort last year. Chubb has been grinding daily, clearly hungry to improve his records in the upcoming season for whichever team might have him. In a game between the Browns and the Chiefs last December, Chubb broke his foot and had to miss the rest of the season with the team. However, he seems to be back on the horse and is ready to pursue the championship with a winning team.
