There's been a lot of conversation over the last few days regarding the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings cornerback Isaiah Rodgers that has been creating some headlines before the two teams clash in Week 7.

A recent report came out that the Eagles were actually going to make Rodgers an offer and weren't able to reach him before he signed with the Vikings. Rodgers took to social media to refute that claim, but has been complimentary to the Eagles in the press, refusing to call this game his "revenge" game.

It was Nick Sirianni's turn to address the questions surrounding Rodgers and the Eagles' wanting to sign him. While speaking to the media, Sirianni did not hold back on how he would love to bring everyone back, but there's a price to pay when teams win Super Bowls.

"You know, obviously, when you have the success we were able to have last year, it's hard to say bye to guys. It's always hard to say bye to guys, but that's the reality of this business that guy's contracts are up. You can only get so many of them back. That's what makes this league so great, the parity within this league. So, all our guys, when you go through special things with them, you have a connection with all of the guys, so you hate to see any of them leave."

Eagles and Rodgers focused on their own teams and trying to win

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has taken a ton of heat for his handling of Rodgers in the offseason due to the rough play of Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo at CB2. Many feel that the team should have brought Rodgers back, as it would have been a cheaper and longer-term option there.

Rodgers has had quite the season already with two defensive touchdowns and three turnovers created in one game. He's put himself in the conversation for being a Pro Bowler.

Sirianni knows how good he has been this season and has to watch out for wherever he is on the field.

"As we watch tape on him, I see doing some really good things. We'll have to be aware of where he is on the football field, on special teams, and also on defense because he has a knack for the football."

While this may not be a true "revenge" game, Rodgers having a good game against the Eagles would only hurt Philly and maybe crack a smile from the veteran cornerback.
