Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles finished the 2025 NFL season with an 11-6 record, securing the No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs and a second-consecutive NFC East title. However, their Super Bowl defense ended early on, falling to Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers 23-19 in the wild card round.

The Eagles were quick to make changes to Sirianni's coaching staff following the early playoff exit. Since then, they have dismissed offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo after just one season in the role, replacing him with former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion, who has only been coaching in the NFL for two years. But that wasn't the only change coming to the Philadelphia coaching staff.

Jeff Stoutland began his football coaching career in 1984 as the linebackers coach for Southern Connecticut. After nearly 30 years of coaching college football, with stops at Michigan State, Miami and Alabama, Stoutland joined the Eagles as their offensive line coach in 2013.

Stoutland spent 13 seasons with Philadelphia (2013–2025), helping the team win Super Bowl LII and Super Bowl LIX. He has even helped create some of the best offensive lines the league has ever seen, working with players such as Jason Kelce, Jason Peters, and Lane Johnson.

But on Wednesday, Stoutland decided it was time for a change, announcing that he will be stepping down as the Eagles' offensive line coach and leaving Sirianni without one of his top assistants.

"Philadelphia, I’ve decided my time coaching with the Eagles has come to an end," Stoutland wrote on X. "When I arrived here in 2013, I did not know what I was signing up for. I quickly learned what this city demands. But more importantly, what it gives back. The past 13 years have been the great privilege of my coaching career. I didn’t just work here, I became one of you. Stout out"

While the Eagles look to fill out their coaching staff for 2026, they will also look to build their roster, beginning with free agency on March 11.
