No One’s Happier Than Maxx Crosby To Have Josh Jacobs Back In The Mix
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Las Vegas Raiders fans on the West Coast woke up to some great news on Saturday. With Josh Jacobs agreeing to a one-year deal, we can all put the offseason chatter to rest. However, no one’s happier than defensive leader Maxx Crosby about all of this.

Maxx Crosby Could Not Be Happier About The Return Of Josh Jacobs

Arguably the face of the franchise now, Crosby has always been forthright in his assessment of the Raiders. He wants to win, plain and simple. This offseason, perhaps more so than any other one, we’ve seen Crosby be very vocal about what he wants from his teammates. Jacobs, arguably the “1B” to Crosby’s “1A”, is now in tow, and Crosby made sure to make his stance known via X, a.k.a. Twitter.

Let’s face it, no matter what side of the argument surrounding Josh Jacobs’ holdout you landed on, this was surely a good development. You’d be hard-pressed to find a Raiders fan who doesn’t share in Maxx Crosby’s jubilation right now.

Jacobs received both All-Pro and Pro Bowl designations for his accolades last season. Anytime you get this level of talent back, it’ll produce good results for the entire locker room. There’s a reason that other players, along with Crosby, expressed their support for Jacobs all offseason. Davante Adams, in particular, comes to mind when he gave his candid thoughts on the situation when he appeared on the Dan Patrick Show not that long ago. Still, that’s all done — for now. It is time to turn the page.

It’s been an offseason filled with so much speculation for the Raiders. Just think back: whether it was Jacobs, Jimmy Garoppolo, or first-round draft pick Tyree Wilson, it seemed endless at some point. Nevertheless, it’s all been sorted out—onto the Denver Broncos in Week 1 with a quick pitstop in Dallas on Saturday.

So, how are we feeling, Raider Nation?
