Odell Beckham Jr. hints 2023 could be final season

It's no secret that wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the most talented players in the NFL when healthy. That hasn't been the case as of late, but the Ravens still went all in on the veteran, who might be on his final ride in 2023.

"I'm thinking like this is my last year," Beckham Jr. said, according to The Athletic's Dan Pompei. It's far from a declaration of retirement but he's clearly open to the idea.

Baltimore signed Beckham Jr. to a one-year deal worth up to $18 million this offseason. It was a move that some viewed as desperate but only time will tell if he was worth the investment.

The 30-year-old has a lot to prove after not playing since suffering a torn ACL in Super Bowl LVI. He also has yet to eclipse 1,000 receiving yards since the 2019 season.

However, the addition of Beckham Jr. wasn't a 100 percent gamble as he played a large role in helping the Ravens extend QB Lamar Jackson, who requested a trade from the team in March.

Beckham Jr. also brings All-Pro play and leadership to a young wide receiver room that has underwhelmed the past few years.

Baltimore has high aspirations this year and Beckham Jr. has a chance to contribute greatly.

If the 2023 season is it for the three-time Pro Bowler and 2014 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, a Super Bowl run would certainly be a storybook ending.
