Official Kickoff Time Is Set For Michigan vs. Ohio State

Michigan shocked the world last college football season by knocking off the Ohio State football team in Columbus in the final week of the regular season. This year the game is back in Ann Arbor, Michigan and while it may be six months away, we now know when to set our alarms.

On Thursday, Ohio State released its game time announcement for four of their biggest games of the year.

Their home game opener against Texas will be at noon on August 30 (FOX), their second game against Grambling State will be at 3:30 p.m. on September 6 (BTN), their game against Ohio University will be at 7 p.m. on September 13 (Peacock).

As for The Game against Michigan, the Buckeyes will take on "TUN" (the Team Up North) at noon on November 29.

College football fans weren't particularly impressed by the schedule though. Many quickly criticized the team for choosing to play against the Ohio Bobcats in primetime but not Texas. Others found the Grambling State logo funny and joked that it looked like they play the Green Bay Packers.

"Thank God we have a night game for Ohio. I was worried we may have (expletive) lost if it was at noon. I can't think of any other team on the schedule we should have at night," one user on X mocked.

"Damn won the natty and now they gotta play the packers?" another joked.

"Texas at noon but OU at 7pm. Who made this?" a third wrote.

"Texas then the Green Bay packers back to back weeks you guys are starting 0-2."

"This is disgusting! We should get some money back for our season tickets since we are getting screwed on night games!"

As for The Game against Michigan, it's way too early to say who the favorite will be.

Ohio State are the defending national champions but will have a new starting quarterback next season. Meanwhile, Michigan will be running it back with a good number of players who contributed to their big win over them last year, with quarterback Davis Warren being the biggest return for the team.
