The Ohio State produce ton sod NFL talent. That is an annual premise that everyone respects, around the football world. Two of their former wide receivers are making it crystal clear that the Buckeyes produce more talent at one key position on offense than any other school in the entire country.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Emeka Egbuka are proving week in and week out that they are two of the most exciting, young wideouts in the entire NFL.

Former Buckeyes wide receivers dominate in Seahawks-Buccaneers matchup

Each wideout had massive downfield plays, and each is starting to standout as the preferred top target in their respective offense. Egbuka is a rookie for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Smith-Njigba is a third-year player for the Seattle Seahawks. With their consistent production, both look like long-term stars in the NFC.

The two former Ohio State stars took turns making game-changing grabs in the Seahawks-Bucs matchup. Tampa Bay ended up pulling out the win late in the fourth quarter.

Have the two young wide receivers further pushed a narrative that seems more like fact rather than opinion at this point? It feels like it for now, at least.

"Ohio State has become the top school for wide receivers entering the NFL in previous years and the Week 5 NFL matchup between the Buccaneers and Seahawks was a great example of why. Smith-Njigba has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL so far this season with 402 receiving yards already entering week 5. Meanwhile, Egbuka looks like he’ll be in control of Offensive Rookie of the Year on the other side. Both former Buckeyes put on a show Sunday afternoon in what should be great examples for Ohio State to show recruits of what their players do in the league.

It took just one half of football for both former Buckeyes to score touchdowns for their teams. Smith-Njogna exploded for 1,606 recording yards back in 2021 for Ohio State and it was Egbuka who broke out in 2022 with 1,151 receiving yards out of the spot when JSN was limited to just three games. Now, both of the former Buckeyes are putting on a show at the next level as just two parts of a group of former Ohio State receivers who are getting it done in the NFL." -- Brandon Little, A to Z Sports

Both players have skillsets that are fun to watch, too. They have an explosive factor with the ball in their hands, and they're cerebral route runners. Both JSN and Egbuka find space in zone defense and make life so much easier for Sam Darnold and Baker Mayfield.

It will be awesome for Buckeyes fans to watch this duo continue to impress the entire pro world.
